Lithium and REE: Italian-based Pininfarina has revealed its very own all-electric Bluecar TNR.v, CZX.v, WLC.v, CLQ.v, F, DAI, RNO, BMW, NSANY,

When designer of Ferrari and Maserati makes an Electric Car it will be noticed, when they partner with french industrialist - it is a sign of time. France invests billions in electric car's infrastructure and makes it compulsory for all residential and commercial development. We have to update our Lithium Demand model again.

"Pininfarina and Bolloré set up a 50-50 joint venture at the beginning of 2008 with the purpose of designing, developing, manufacturing and distributing an electric car with revolutionary technical features and formal qualities. The Pininfarina BLUECAR, is therefore not a mere concept car but a forerunner of the vehicle which will go into production in Italy at Pininfarina starting from 2010 with the first units. Production on an industrial scale will take place between 2011 and 2017, with forecast output by 2015 being about 60,000...."

"Italian-based Pininfarina has revealed that its very own all-electric Bluecar is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2011. The 4-seater compact MPV is powered by Lithium Polymer batteries that delivers up to 250 kilometers in terms of driving range, which is also made possible with the help of a supercapacity energy storage system.
The company claims that it would take just a few hours to recharge the batteries and roof-mounted solar panels will also chip in. Unlike most other EV makers, Pininfarina confirmed that the battery pack can last up to 200,000 kilometers. The Bluecar will be manufactured as part of a joint venture with Vincent Bollore, a French industrialist, where Ballore is expected to focus on producing the batteries. The production version of the Bluecar was unveiled in Geneva this year."
